Training for the European Qualifying Examination.Live course on preparing for the EQE pre-examination paper (September 2020 to March 2021)
The European Patent Academy offers EQE candidates online support in three different formats and time ranges.
This course, which starts on 1 September 2020, will cover all aspects of the EPC. It includes articles, quizzes and live sessions with tutors. There is also a forum where candidates and tutors can get together to exchange views.
Registration will be possible until 24 January 2021.
The European Patent Academy also offers to the EQE applicants a free of charge online help in order to increase their knowledge through questions that will be sent to the users by e-mail.
The questions are in three different formats:
Coffee-break questions
Coffee-break questions are straightforward questions that require a simple yes/no answer. When you sign up for this service, we will send you a question every three days via e-mail, along with the answer to the previous question.
Daily D questions
For something more challenging, you can sign up for our Daily D questions. Starting on 28 September, you will be sent a question a day for twelve weeks. You can upload your answers to a forum for assessment by a tutor, who will post the correct answers in the forum at the end of each week.
Time limit questions
A large number of the legal questions in the main EQE examination papers deal with deadlines under the EPC. This section contains exercises to help you practise calculating time limits at different stages in the grant, opposition and appeal procedures.
