The Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria gives you the opportunity to get acquaintedand try the electronic Madrid eFiling service.
Madrid eFiling is a web-based solution, created by WIPO to make applications for international registration under the Madrid System quick and easy and to replace the MM2 paper form.
Madrid eFiling is available to all applicants. The filing process is clear, goes from one stage to another through a series of steps and is easy to use.
The application for international registration should be supplied in English or French.
In order to pay in a test environment fees due to WIPO, you can use the following options:
-WIPO current account by entering irpi in both fields (for user and password)
or
-By selecting Credit card and using one of the cards from the following address:
Advantages of Madrid eFiling:
1. Convenient and time-saving alternative to paper forms.
2. Interface in Bulgarian.
3. Madrid eFiling ensures that applicants will fill in only the necessary information, which further simplifies the application process. At the same time, the risk of irregularities is minimized, which saves applicants’ time, effort and money.
4. Madrid eFiling provides applicants with access to Madrid Goods & Services Manager, TMclass and GoogleTranslate, by the help of which the list of goods and services is checked and translated into the language of the application.
5. Communication between the applicant, the national Patent office and WIPO shall be entirely electronic.
6. Madrid eFiling also serves as a repository for all applications for international registration, submitted by a given applicant.
