The Annual Report of the EUIPO for 2019 has been published following its adoption by written procedure by the Management Board of the Office.
The 2019 Annual Report provides an overview of a special year in which the EUIPO marked its 25th anniversary, received its two millionth trade mark application, and developed a new Strategic Plan following widespread consultation with stakeholders, adopted by the Management Board in November.
The 2019 Annual report includes the main figures of the Office, including EUTM and RCD volumes, and it takes stock of the initiatives taken to deliver high quality services and advanced tools to customers.
Key events in 2019 included the cooperation agreement with Europol to combat IP crime, the major IP Horizon 5.0 Conference, the extension of EU Funded projects to Africa, the Caribbean and Georgia, and the increased use of innovative and mobile working methods within the Office.
