The information services that the Patent Office provides to its clients are not only part of its main functions, but also an important element of its activity as a state institution for protection of industrial property (IP). They are an integral part of the program of the Office for Public Information and include a wide range of activities, including maintaining a rich collection of information sources, research on various objects of IP.

Additional services that the Patent Office provides to the public in the field of inventions

• Entry of changes in the legal status of claimed or protected objects of industrial property, including: change of name and / or address of an applicant, rightholder or author; transfer of rights; granting a license; request for termination of protection; restriction of the list of goods of a registered trademark; maintaining the validity of issued patents for inventions and varieties of plants and breeds of animals, continuation of registered utility models, renewal of trademark registration and industrial design; other changes in legal status;
• References and extracts from the State Register;
• Methodological assistance and cooperation in using the International Patent Classification;
• Methodological assistance and cooperation with regard to studies, references and other services for patents for inventions;
• Consultations on general issues of industrial property protection;
• Studies on novelty, novelty and inventive step, prior art, patent purity and others in the field of patents;
• Duplicates of protective documents;
