The Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria was a host to a public lecture on the following topic – "Ideas and Innovation: Intellectual Property in History".
The event was held on 10th March from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Patent office’s premises: 52B G.M. Dimitrov Blvd. and was attended by students from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia University“ St. Kliment Ohridski ”and representatives of the office.
Guest speaker was Mr. Nathan Brooks, a lawyer in the field of international computer attacks and intellectual property at the US Department of Justice (USDOJ), currently based in Bucharest, Romania.
Mr. Brooks’s lecture was focused on intellectual property history and evolution, while giving useful and interesting examples and driving an active discussion.
